Parking in Dejvice, Prague
Dejvice concentrates a university campus, ministries, embassies and the main road in from the airport. Around Vítězné náměstí ("Kulaťák") the morning rush for kerb space is a daily ritual, and the campus term-time makes it worse.
Street parking and zones
Prague 6 paid zones apply through Dejvice and Bubeneč — blue for residents, mixed sections around the square and main streets. Rates are gentler than in the historic centre, but capacity around the campus and offices runs out just as fast on weekday mornings.
Local tips
- Villas in Bubeneč and Hanspaulka have driveways that sit empty all day — classic Figpark supply, minutes from the campus.
- Flying out? A private spot near metro A (Dejvická, Nádraží Veleslavín) plus the airport bus is cheaper than airport parking for longer trips.
- Hotel and event traffic around the Crowne Plaza spills into side streets on conference days.
